Episode #65: Front Squat: it’s proper execution and how to progress

The front squat is a functional exercise that is usually done in the gym with a bar, with or without weights. The bars themselves weight about 20 kg, so for beginners it is best to start learning the technique without any additional weights.

This exercise captures mostly your legs and even your arms, but also your core which is it’s most beneficial surprise because you can get abs by doing the front squat sooner than if you did exercises just for your abs!

Check out the video above to learn about the front squat, see its proper technique, common mistakes and also how to progress with weights to get better and stronger.
