Meet Monika Pemper, a Croatian female soccer player who is trying to push her way through as a coach to give back to the sport that she devoted her life to.
She has a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Zagreb, qualifying her to work as a coach, in physical education or athletic training. She comes from a small Croatian town where she started playing soccer as a young girl and then made it to the Croatian National Women’s team and moved to a larger city to continue her career.
Take some time to listen to women who devote their lives to women’s soccer for very little give back, something that men do for bigger benefits, and how they struggle to see progression and development in the sport but nevertheless stick to it because of their love for the game.
